Two international exhibitions UzBuild-2011 and MebelExpo Uzbekistan opened at national exhibition complex Uzexpocenter in Tashkent on 15 March.

The events have been organized by the international exhibition company ITE Uzbekistan and its foreign partners with support of the Ministry for foreign economic relations, investments and trade, State committee for architecture and construction, Uzkommunkhizmat agency, Tashkent city administration, Commerce and industry chamber and other structures.

The traditional UzBuild fair gathered representatives of the national and foreign market of construction materials, technologies and solutions.

130 companies from 16 countries are participating in this year’s exhibition. 23% of the participants represent local business.

The sections of the exhibition include heating and ventilation, construction materials and equipment, electrical instruments, interior and design, landscape and others.

MebelExpo Uzbekistan, which features furniture and accessories, this year has about 40 participants from 13 states.

The sections of the exhibition include equipment and parts, materials for furniture production and ready furniture sets. The larger share of the furniture exposition is occupied by the local producers.
