Uzbekneftegaz national holding company will build booster station at Eastern Berdah field in Ustyurt, northern-western Uzbekistan, in 2011-2013.

Energonews reported quoting the source in the government of Uzbekistan, the cost of the project is US million.

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov approved measures on speeding up construction of the booster station within the project on re-construction of Eastern Berdah field, the report said.

The designed capacity of the booster station is 2 billion cubic meters a year. The project will allow to support gas production at the field, which is resource base of Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex. The booster station will be commissioned in the third quarter of 2013.

The project will be carried out due to loan of Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan for US million and own resources of Uzbekneftegaz.
