Uzbekistan – one of Tajikistan's main trade partners

     

In the first half of this year, Tajikistan's real GDP growth made up 7.3%. It is expected that by the end of the year, the country's GDP will exceed USD 3.5 billion, and the growth will make up 7.5%.

The country's foreign trade turnover made up USD 3.2 in 2006, whereas in the first seven months of this year along it exceeded USD 2.12 billion. It has thus grown by 22.7% or USD 393 million year-on-year.

Tajikistan supports foreign trade relations with 88 countries. Its main trade partners are Russia (USD 410.3 million), Netherlands (USD 398.3 million), China (USD 323 million), Turkey (USD 296.9 million), Kazakhstan (USD 200.4 million) and Uzbekistan (USD 188.3 million).
