Uzbekistan Havo Yollari receives new Il-114-100On 23 February, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, national airline of Uzbekistan, received third Il-114-100, which was produced by the Tashkent Aircraft Production Plant named after Chkalov. New aircraft will be used for internal and CIS flights. The aircraft meets all modern requirements of aviation transportation. Valeiy Tyan, director-general of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, said Il-114-100 was modified to cut exploitation expanses and improve technical characteristics. The aircraft is equipped with automatic landing system. Modified Il-114-100 aircraft has 52 seats and it can fly up to 1,250 kms. The aircraft equipped with modern Russian equipment, avionics of Rockwell Collins (USA), engine of Pratt&Whitney Canada, airscrew of Hamilton Sundstrand (USA), etc. Tyan noted that Il-114-100 aircraft will help to improve service and comfort in flights of the company. Uzbekistan Havo Yollari transported over 2.069 million passengers, which is 4% more compared to 2007. The airline transported 22,200 tonnes of cargo. Uzreport.com
