The opening of the Second Polish National Exhibition had place in Tashkent in the framework of the stay in the Republic of Uzbekistan of the Polish delegation at the head of the Deputy Minister of economy of the Republic of Poland Marcin Korolec. Moreover, Uzbek-Polish business forum was held where Polish businesses were presented on investment climate created in Uzbekistan and cooperation perspectives in different spheres of economy.

The prospective investment projects in the framework of privatization program, in the industry of construction materials’ production, sphere of production of meat and milk products, pharmaceutical industry and the tourism potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan were presented during the business forum.

Besides the officials of the both countries in the business forum held the representatives of the more than 30 Polish companies and organizations which took part in the Second Polish National Exhibition have participated

One of the main outcomes of the official visit of the Deputy Minister of economy of the Republic of Poland Marcin Korolec was signature of an Agreement on economic cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Poland which determines principal trends of cooperation between two countries and regulates the activity of the Uzbek-Polish Intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
