A delegation of Korea Telecom led by its vice-president Men Su Ho held negotiations with the representatives of the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information on 9 March.

The sides discussed development of bilateral cooperation in new directions of telecommunication and information-communication technologies.

The Korean side expressed its intention to develop further wireless Internet in Uzbekistan. Korea Telecom plans to increase investment volume to develop telecommunication market of Uzbekistan through introduction of modern technologies.

The Uzbek side expressed its interest and readiness to expand cooperation and help the Korean side on several directions.
