Uzkimyosanoat (Uzbek Chemical Industry) state joint-stock company is carrying out work on modernization, technical and technological re-equipment of enterprises of chemical industry for 2007-2011.

In line with the modernization, technical and technological re-equipment for 2007-2011, it is planned to implement 30 investment projects.

About USD 291 million will be spent to implement the projects, which will expand production 1.5 times.

It is expected that the programme will assist to decrease electricity consumption and increase exports of chemical industry.

Currently, the enterprises of the chemical industry produce over 150 types of goods.
