Two international exhibitions opened at Uzexpocenter in Tashkent on 29 March. These are the 11th WorldFood and the sixth AgroWorld exhibitions.

The WorldFood Uzbekistan features products and technologies for the food and drinks sector, while AgroWorld Uzbekistan showcases all spheres of agriculture.

The events have been organized by ITE Uzbekistan, I.T.E. Exhibition & Conferences Ltd (Great Britain) and ITE GIMA (Germany) in conjunction with the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources Management, Commerce and Industry Chamber, Farms Association, Tashkent city administration and other organizations.

The number of the participants of the WorldFood Uzbekistan has been increasing from year to year. This year the figure is more than 140 companies from various countries, compared to about 100 companies last year.

Among the exponents are known producers like Kipco Damaco (Belgium), Global Meat (Hungary), FTI Fish (Latvia), SN Favid and Sa Sodime (France), AziaAgroFood and Rakhat (Kazakhstan), Roskon and Maryanskiy Risozavod (Russia).

Uzbekistan is represented by such companies as Cool System, Pakografix, R-Keeper, Kholod Sistem Servis, Viniks, PSM Group, Muzimpex, Murot Shokolad, Mehrigiyo and others.

AgroWorld participants include Vita Ltd (Great Britain), VandeputteNV (Belgium), Satimex (Germany), Sakata (Japan), Astrachem (Saudi Arabia), Claas (Germany), Maschio Gaspardo, FARCK SpA, Sperotto SpA (Italy), Donfeng (China), etc.
