Preparation is underway for business forum "Economic and Investment Potential of Tashkent" dedicated to the 2,200th anniversary of the capital city of Uzbekistan.

The event will be held at the end of January 2009 and it is organized by the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade and “Uzinfoinvest” the Information Support and Foreign Investments Promotion Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Tashkent city administration.

The forum is attracting interest from diplomatic corps, foreign companies and banks, as well as international financial institutions.
