Samarqand vehicle plant developed prototype of new 8-meter low entry bus of Samauto LE 60 model, the company said.

The plant said the designed capacity of the bus is 65 passengers. Its total mass is 9.8 tonnes. The bus meets Euro-3/4 ecology standards with possibility to raise it to Euro-5.

New bus has wide salon and comfortable seats. The bus equipped with false deck, which allow people with disabilities to enter bus.

Samarqand vehicle plant currently produces Isuzu buses and lorries. The plant produced 444 lorries (up 16.5%) and 1,556 buses (up 39.4%).
