Regional industrial fair and cooperation exchange was held in Nukus, Karakalpakstan. Large industrial enterprises, small businesses and private entrepreneurship entities of the Aral Sea area attended the event.

Currently, almost 1,100 small businesses and private entrepreneurships entities operate in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Their import-substituting products are in high demand in the consumer market with their high quality.

The industrial fair and cooperation exchange, annually held with the aim to further develop the sphere plays an important role in achieving economic efficiency.

If last year’s fair in Karakalpakstan drew about 60 manufacturers, this year their number reached 154. More than 720 types of finished and semi-finished products were presented at the fair.

Representatives of 18 foreign companies that participated in the fair were able to get closely acquainted with the products produced by the Aral Sea area entrepreneurs.

More than 50 contracts worth over UZS 2 billion were signed during the fair.
