President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on 27-28 September on the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

During the visit, issues of expansion and deepening of Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan cooperation and important problems of regional and international character will be considered.

On the results of the talks, signing of bilateral documents aimed at deepening interaction of the two states in various areas is expected.
