President leaves for Ashgabat

The President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on the invitation of the President Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov left for an official visit to Ashgabat on 19 October.

The issues of expansion of Uzbek-Turkmen cooperation and important regional and international problems of mutual interest will be discussed during the visit.

Also, several bilateral documents aimed at deepening the interaction in various spheres between the two states will be signed on the results of the talks.
