Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari has said that Pakistan values cordial relations with Uzbekistan and desires to further enhance economic, commercial and trade ties between the two countries.

He was speaking to outgoing Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan Oybek Usmanov, who paid farewell call on President Asif Ali Zardari at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Pakistani media reported.

He lauded valuable contributions of Uzbek Ambassador in consolidating the close bilateral ties between the two counties.

The outgoing Ambassador Oybek Usmanov thanked President and the government for the support extended to him during his stay in Pakistan and assured that the momentum of friendship and brotherly relations between the two countries will continue flourishing with every passing day.
