Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan Republic in Russia Bakhtier Islamov visited the Novosibirsk region on April 27-28, Russian media reported 2 May.

The goal of the official visit was to discuss the prospects of cooperation of Uzbekistan with the Novosibirsk region in trade and economy and science and technology. Besides, the parties also discussed some events dedicated to the opening of Uzbekistan's general consulate in Novosibirsk.
