New Year celebrations started across Uzbekistan. A high new year tree was mounted on the Independence Square in the centre of Tashkent.

The city administration, Uzbekteatr and Uzbeknavo associations, city public education department and other organizations contributed to the organization of the holiday celebrations.

Famous singers, theater actors, circus masters and others are entertaining children from morning till evening.
