Association of companies and organizations of information technologies of Uzbekistan (the IT association of Uzbekistan) and the Microsoft Kazakhstan signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of information technology on 26 March.

The agreement directed to assist in introducing IT in Uzbekistan, developing high-quality information and telecommunications infrastructure as well as establishing and strengthening relations between public, state and commercial structures in the sphere of information technology.

The signed document will help make Uzbekistan more attractive to investors and aid its integration into the world information arena. It also involves participation by national companies in large-scale joint projects in education, the public sector and in the software market.

The acting director of the IT association of Uzbekistan, Ilhom Abdullayev, has stressed that the signed memorandum shows the interest of leaders of the international IT market, and the Microsoft company in particular, in developing business in Uzbekistan.
