Executive directors of Malaysian investment companies Corvina Ventures (CVSB) Ahmad Rahman and La Transa Capital (LTC) Haris Hamid paid a visit to Uzbekistan on 1-7 November 2011.

The visit was aimed at presenting investment opportunities of companies and discussing issues of their participation in investment projects on infrastructure development in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the Malaysian delegation held negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management, Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan, Road Fund under the Ministry of Finance, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan to discuss issues of establishing investment cooperation with interested companies in Uzbekistan.

CVSB and LTC are subsidiaries of Corvina Investment Holding (USA), specializing at financing large infrastructure projects in developing state under the state guarantee. Investment opportunities of the companies rated at US{news newscat="%" number="50"}.5-50 billion.
