Lukoil plans to increase gas production in Uzbekistan

 
Russian company Lukoil is planning to produce 80 million barrels of oil equivalent in Uzbekistan by 2018, the Vice President of the company Leonid Fedun said.

Itar-Tass reported quoting Fedun that gas from Uzbekistan will be exported to western China and internal market of Uzbekistan.

As earlier reported, Lukoil received the first gas within the product-sharing agreement at the Southern-Western Gissar.

Prior to this LUKoil was producing oil at the South Kyzylbairak and Koshkuduk oil fields in South West Gissar. According to preliminary information, production at the two deposits will amount to 90,000 tonnes of oil in 2011.

Besides, Lukoil carries out production of gas at Kandym-Khauzak-Shady. The maximum volume of gas project within it will make 12 billion cubic meters of gas.
