Zenith Electronics plans to launch production of Samsung television sets.

According to head of Samsung in Uzbekistan Kim Tehan, the South Korean company is considering the organization of the production of TV-sets at Zenith Electronics joint venture. “We are holding talks in this direction, and in the near future we plan to reach concrete agreements,” said the representative of the Korean company. Recently, Zenith Electronics has launched a line of assembly of Samsung washing machines with an annual capacity of 10 thousand units. 
This is not the only project of Samsung in Uzbekistan. In particular, production of Samsung color televisions is to start in Namangan region’s Chust, at Baryon Eltech Invest. According to experts, the company will annually produce about 10,000 television sets. The project investment will exceed newscat="%" number="50".2 millionut.uz
