The fourth International industrial fair and Cooperation exchange opened at Tashkent’s Uzexpocenter on 26 October.

The main goal of the fair and exchange is to promote cooperation between and within the industries.

The fair and exchange are held in two stages, the first being the regional and sector-wise fair and exchange.

During the first stage, held in May-July, 1,450 enterprises signed over 2,640 contracts to purchase and supply products worth UZS 1.5 million.

At the final stage, 715 local enterprises are participating (378 last year) and over 650 foreign companies and organizations (602) from 51 states.

More than 60 presentations of industrial sectors, as well as academic institutes developing innovative projects will be held during the fair.

The sectors of the fair include geological survey, processing of mineral resources, car and machinery building, chemical, pharmaceutical, light and food industries, construction materials and others.
