The first stage of the International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange – regional and sectoral industrial fairs – are being held across Uzbekistan.

140 industrial and commercial enterprises and private entrepreneurs of Samarkand region presented more than 1,000 kinds of products and services at the regional fair organized in Samarkand.

The annual event serves to strengthening cooperation among large industrial enterprises and small business, as well as increasing the level of localization of production.

At the 2010 regional fair, contracts worth over UZS 2.6 billion were signed.
