In the markets of Aviasozlar, Farhod and Yunusobod of Tashkent, the fair for the sale of the honey is being held. Current trade fair was organized by Toshbozortayorlov, Tashkent Beekeepers Association and the city municipality.

“The main purpose of the festival is to attract the honey beekeepers to the sale of products and provision of quality honey for consumers,” said the chairman of the Tashkent City Association of Beekeepers Hamid Nekkadamboev. “Our beekeepers offer honey at relatively cheap prices. At the fair you can buy honey, beeswax, bee pollen, bee royal jelly and more.”

In Uzbekistan there are over two hundred beekeepers. They each have an average of 150 bee colonies. This year, Tashkent city and metropolitan area harvested over 150 tons of honey.

“With the annual autumn trade of honey, e buy it for the whole family, “said the buyer Lola Soatova. “Today I bought propolis, which is used to prevent cold and improve the immunity of adults and children.”
