US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton launched the Central Asia Technology Entrepreneurship Program and Techno-Prize Competition in Tashkent on 23 October 2011.

During her tour to General Motors Powertrain Uzbekistan, she said that the US State Department and NGO CRDF Global initiate the Central Asia Technology Entrepreneurship Program and Techno-Prize Competition.

She said that the programme will help to teach new generation of entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan and help to spread culture of development, based on high technologies.

Clinton stated that eight entrepreneurs will receive Techno-prize at the size of US,000 and one of them will visit the USA to familiarize with potential investors.
