GM Uzbekistan, an Uzbek-US joint venture, increased car output by 11.1% year-on-year in January-November 2008. The company produced 177,098 cars in the reporting period.

The venture produced 87,280 Nexia cars (+ 11.5%), 63,636 Matiz cars (+ 8.2%) and 22,230 Damas mini buses (+ 14.3%).

GM Uzbekistan produced 171,809 vehicles in 2007 (+ 22.7% year-on-year). The company exported 109,500 cars in the same year (+ 32.7%).
