Spain’s Grupo MOS is planning to develop marble production in Navoi region, newspaper Pravda Vostoka reported.

The publication said that Grupo MOS President Antonio Ortega announced intention of the company to develop marble production in Uzbekstan.

The Spanish delegation visited Nurata district and studied opportunities on developing industry of processing of the marble.

Grupo MOS President is planning to open school on processing marble and organize industrial production and educational center on training specialists. Antonio Ortega hopes that his initiatives will be supported by local authorities.

During the visit, the delegation familiarized with Nurata Mining Industry Professional College and presented Spanish marble school. Spanish delegation visited 10 marble mines in Gazgan village, where it is planned to organize educational center n 2012.
