Chinese government allocated 25 million yuans (about USD 3.7 million) grant to the government of Uzbekistan.

Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev and Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan Yu Hongjun signed a corresponding note.

The grant will be directed to equipment of customs post with mobile x-rays, which will help to boost regional trade and prevent smuggling, traffic of arms and drugs.
