The competitive tenders are declared aimed at the selection of strategic partner – cofounder for establishing a Joint Venture for the implementation of the project «Wolfram ore production rehabilitation in Ingichka deposit» with the provision of fundamental reconstruction works to the mine, construction of enriching factory using the existing infrastructure and further exploitation of the developed industrial mining complex on a collaborative basis.

The organiser of competitive tenders is the agency «Uzbektenderconsulting».

The principal is the Uzbek industrial complex of high-temperature and heat-resistant metals (UzCTJM).

Enterprises and organisations willing to participate in the tenders should meet the following requirements:

1. Should have the confirmed project funding sources (own resources and/or borrowings) in an amount no less than equivalent of 40 m USD;
2. Should have all necessary means for undertaking investment obligations sufficient for full cycle of recovery of mine capable of producing the wolfram ore at the volume of no less than 300 thousand MT per annum and for the construction of new enriching factory within 2 years from the day of establishment of the Joint Venture;
3. Should have the participation experience in construction or exploitation of, or financing the similar projects, related to wolfram ore and/or other minerals;
4. Should have the experience in wolfram ore or minerals sales in foreign markets;
5. The main contractor for construction of objects of production and processing of ore should have the appropriate license (certificate-permission for conducting of appropriate works).

Competitive bids should be submitted to the address stated above no later than 15:00 (Tashkent time) of September 2, 2008.

Competition commission can take decisions regarding the extension of deadlines for submission of tender offers, which will apply to all participants.
