Delegation of Thailand headed by Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Foreign Ministry Charivat Santaputra is on a visit to Uzbekistan.

On 22 July, the members of the delegation held talks with the chairman of the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Uzbekistan Alisher Shaikhov.

“Uzbekistan is a country with a stably developing economy,” Charivat Santaputra said at the meeting. “We are interested in further strengthening of the bilateral cooperation.”

The negotiations focused on the current state and perspective of trade-economic and investment relations between the two states.

The Thailand delegation also held talks at the Foreign Ministry, Uzbektourism national company and the International Kurash Association.

Besides, they visited the Hazrati Imam (Hastimom) complex, the State museum of Temurids history and the State arts museum of Uzbekistan.
